Doug and Michelle Bland
Douglas Edward Bland of Mount Uniacke and Michelle Nicole Heisler of Mahone Bay were married in Blockhouse, Nova Scotia. The lovely garden ceremony took place at the home of Michelle's grandmother Grace Heisler. Reception followed in the Blockhouse Fire Hall shortly after. There were several Mount Uniacke residents in attendance including wedding party members Ricky Beamish and Donnie Lynch. Ricky's daughter Chloe was the very pretty flower girl. Wedding photographs were taken at the Bridgewater grist mill and falls. Guests came from near and far. Doug's aunts June and Hazel, along with Hazel's husband Don, arrived in plenty of time from England for this occasion. Extended family members from Ontario attended as well as family friends from Mount Uniacke, Halifax and Mahone Bay. Doug and Michelle reside in Bedford with their daughter Alexus Raine Bland.
