This photo was taken in 1941 just prior to Ronald's departure for Liverpool and subsequently Canada. Ronald and his sister Bessie were evacuated to Canada during World War II. They were sent to live here in Mount Uniacke with George and Allie Cole, where they spent the next 2 years going to school, making friends, doing chores and enjoying the quiet life of Mount Uniacke. |
