Joshua Lake-Crossley
Joshua Lake-Crossley, a Grade 5 student at Uniacke District School, travelled with his Atom AA Team, the West Hants Warriors to Lantz on March 28-30, 2008 to compete in the Atom AA Provincial Championships. The Warriors were undefeated in the qualifying game, with 3 wins and a tie, and eventually went on to win GOLD against the Bedford Blues in the Championship game. In the Hockey Nova Scotia Annual Awards presented during that week end, Joshua was named to the Provincial team as the first line goalie and was awarded several prizes. Joshua is the son of Sona Lake and Greg Crossley.

Lakeland Realty would like to welcome Grant Sprague to its team of local real estate professionals.  Grant brings with him a great deal of experience and has had great results as a real estate professional with a larger real estate company.

Lakeland Realty was established in 2005 as a need to fill a void in the local real estate market in the Mount Uniacke/Lakelands area and to provide the local community with a higher level of service than they were able to receive previously.

Many of the professionals that make up Lakeland Realty came from larger real estate organizations and realized that these large companies lacked the ability to properly promote the best interests of our community.

By establishing a small team of real estate professionals that work together to help all of its clients, the individualistic and competitive nature that exists within larger companies is eliminated and our clients are the winners as a result.

The decision to keep Lakeland Realty as an independent company as opposed to a national franchisee was an easy one.  Often, as is the nature with franchises, a real estate professional can find themselves serving many masters from the local franchise level to a head office in some far off place like Toronto or New York.  Lakeland Realty services but one master, its local clientele, as they are the ones that matter most.  If the company fails at this, then the company ceases to exist.  By being independent also eliminates restrictions which allows for our company to give back more to the community through athletic sponsorships, and donations, while also promoting other local trades in the construction and home renovation business.

Lakeland Realty is proud of its place in our community and to be of service to you all.  Grant realizes that a local real estate firm will better serve his clients and we are very privileged to have him join our organization.
