COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FUNDS

In anticipation of the change in boundaries and the Mount Uniacke-Lakeland area becoming part of the West Hants Community Health Board (Capital Health) the WHCHB wishes to announce the 2008-09 Community Development Funds (CDF).

The application deadline is Friday, May 30, 2008 and grants will be distributed in September 2008.

Only established community groups and not-for-profit groups should apply.  No government agencies need apply.  Money is limited so we recommend request be $2500 or less.

Applications that will enhance healthy and safe life styles are given priority.  It is recommended that you contact the WHCHB office staff and review your application prior to applying.  This will not only ensure that your idea fits into the CHB’s criteria but they may be able to suggest partnerships.
