a Grade 5 student at Uniacke District School travelled with his Atom AA Team, the West Hants Warriors, to Lantz on March 28-30, 2008 to compete in the Atom AA Provincial Championships. 

The Warriors were undefeated in the qualifying game, with 3 wins and a tie, and eventually went on  to win GOLD against the Bedford Blues in the Championship game.  In the Hockey Nova Scotia Annual Awards presented during that week end, Joshua was named to the Provincial team as the first line goalie and was awarded several prizes.  Joshua is the son of Shona Lake and Greg Crossley.
