The Summer Reading Program – Laugh Out Loud – began on June 24th with a big launch party for children of all ages. Fun was had by children of all ages
Join the Summer Reading Program and receive a free poster, stickers and activity book and a log book to record the boois that you read. Each book read makes you eligible for a chance to win great prizes or choose a gift from the treasure chest. You may register any time. Other programs for the summer are: Looney at the Library for ages 5 and up on July 11th at 2 PM Christmas in July for all ages on July 22nd from 3-5 PM Going Buggy for ages 5 and up on Aug 8th at 2 PM Silly Olympics for all ages on Aug 14th from 3-5 PMThe last day for the Summer Reading Program is Aug 16th. Regular children’s programs will resume towards the end of September. For more information or to register for a program, drop in or call the library at 866-0124.We have a student working in the CAP Site for the summer. She will be offering programs on Webkinz; Word Processing; using a digital camera and how to edit photos; E-mail; Facebook and instant messaging. A new and exciting program is geocaching. The programs are open to all ages. Individual computer assistance is also available. To book a program or seek assistance call Caitlin at 866-0124 for available dates and times.Library hours: Tuesday 10-1; Thursday 3-5; Friday 2-5; Saturday 10-1.
