The Managing our Mood (MOM) Program

ARE YOU A NEW MOM OR DO YOU KNOW A NEW MOM WHO IS BOTHERED BY FEELING DOWN, DEPRESSED OR HOPELESS?

Researchers at the IWK Health Centre are studying a distance therapy for women who are suffering from mild-moderate postpartum depression.  This therapy is offered over the phone, meaning women wouldn’t have to come into the health centre for their sessions.  Women must be 19-45 years old, have had a child within the last year and live in Nova Scotia.  If you have questions or are interested in hearing more about the research program call (toll free)                     1-866-470-7111  ext 3 or go to www.crfh.ca
