The parents and families of all junior ball players wish to thank everyone who participated in any way with the fund raising on June 6.  I would very much like to thank everyone individually but unfortunately I do not have the names of everyone who helped.  If you do not have a child playing ball here you cannot imagine how much this means to the children of this community.  Without your support there would be no games for any of the children as the fields were getting to a state where they were unsafe to use.

For those of you who haven't had the pleasure of watching kids have fun and learning sportsmanship at the same time please come out to the legion on a fine night this summer. We have kids of all ages and abilities.  It is great to watch them as their performances improve.  They are so proud of themselves when things work out in their favor and still they cheer the other team when they get something right.

There is no charge for this entertainment and you will seldom find better.                                                                 A caring parent.
