GOVERNMENT GRANTS

Community Grant Program:  The Municipality’s Community Grant Program has a funding program for youth whereby up to $100 per youth is available for opportunities that support youth programs and activities. 

General Government Grants:  The General Government Grants Program is designed to support non-profit organizations that contribute to the well being and growth of the community and positively impact on the quality of life of its residents.  The focus of the criteria used to determine eligibility is to financially assist organizations that provide services or programs that support municipal services and that provide broad based benefits to all residents.  The Policy also contains provisions that enable Council to provide one-time funding where all criteria for funding are not met; however, the organization is required to make a presentation to Council during which the merits and benefits of the requested funding are provided.  If a written request for funding under the General Government Grants program was received, it would be processed as part of the 2010-11 grant program.
