March 2003-the East Uniacke Road is the worst road in Mount Uniacke. We all became \"obstacle course drivers\" showing much patience and capabilities as drivers in order to avoid dropping out of sight into a pot hole and avoid hitting other vehicles.

LOCAL SKATER HEADING TO NATIONAL SYNCHRONIZED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS

     Jessica Lake-Crossley is a local skater who skates with the Provincial Synchronized Skating Team, InNOVAtion, which is coached by Ann Young.

     InNOVAtion won Gold at the Eastern Regional Skating Championships in Moncton, New Brunswick on January 30, 2010. The team will travel to Brampton, Ontario representing Nova Scotia at the National Synchronized Skating Championships the first week in March. Jessica lives in Mount Uniacke and is the daughter of Shona Lake and Greg Crossley. 

    InNOVAtion has been awarded the “Sport Nova Scotia Cleve's Source for Sports/New Balance” Team of the Month Award for the month of January.
