Mount Uniacke Hotel
Built in 1859 by Richard McLearn. Destroyed by fire in 1937. Year photo taken is unknown. Look closely and you can read the sign on the front of the hotel. Some people knew it as the Parker Hotel.

1. Friday, February 5th, 2010, South Rawdon, Hants County, Nova Scotia.
      On Thursday, February 4th, 2010 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. unknown 
person(s) forcibly entered a residence on the South Rawdon Road, South Rawdon, 
Hants County. Electronics and other items were stolen from the premises.
      Anyone with information on the person(s) responsible is asked to contacted the 
Windsor District RCMP at 798-2207 or contact Crime Stoppers at 
1-800-222-8477(TIPS) or submit a Secure Web Tip at http://crimestoppers.ns.ca.
 Also by a TEXT "TIP202 plus your message to CRIMES(274637)". If your tip leads
 to an arrest you could qualify for a cash award between $50.00 and $2,000.00.

2. On February 4th, 2010 at 9:50 pm. a 2005 orange-coloured Mazda Tribute bearing 
a Nova Scotia plate was discovered fully engulfed by flames on a logging Road in 
Ellershouse, Hants County by a passing motorist. The vehicle was completely 
destroyed. The vehicle had earlier been stolen from the parking lot of the Sobey's 
Store in Lower Sackville.
       Anyone with information on the person(s) responsible is asked to contact the
