Attempted Child Abduction
Tuesday, March 2nd, 2010, Mount Uniacke, Hants County, Nova Scotia.

The police investigation into a report of an alleged child abduction on
Thursday, February 25th, in Mount Uniacke, Hants County has revealed this
incident did not occur.
The information received by the RCMP indicated that there was a potential
threat to our community and in particular, to one of our children.
As the policing service provider, the RCMP is required to fully investigate all
complaints and especially in instances where there is a reported threat to our
children, will ensure every single avenue of investigation is exhausted.
The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.
